The Miss Rodeo Canada pageant is held yearly in conjunction with the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton. This year, nine contestants will compete for the title of Miss Rodeo Canada 2005:
Ron Boston, who rides for the Stump Lake Ranch, won the Reata Long Throw Competition at the O'Keefe Ranch Cowboy Festival with a record-setting 55-foot throw. Ron had earlier reached the end of his rope, and in the true spirit of the event, the other cowboys pitched in and tied ropes together so he could keep going.

Fans of Tracy Millar have been waiting a while, and they won't be disappointed. Tracy has put the finishing touches on her much-anticipated CD You Go Girl and invites everyone to come out to the release party. Tracy has also invited some special guests to join her on stage.
