Samantha King is a Contender
Edmonton, Alta’s Samantha King and Ted Hewitt are finalists in the 2006 International Songwriting Competition with their song, The All Overs. The ISC is open to amateur and professional songwriters and musicians in 18 categories that run the gamut from Americana, Folk, Blues, Country to World Music. Judges include legendary musicians such as Brian Wilson, Tom Waits, Jerry Lee Lewis, Robert Smith, Isaac Brock plus an avalanche of music industry execs.
The ISC will award over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including a grand prize package of $25,000 cash and over $20,000 in merchandise. Winners will be announced in March.
