Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Tom Jackson who will be receiving the 2005 Alberta Men of Country Music Lifetime Achievement Award. The induction ceremony and performance will take place September 24, 2005 in Rimbey, Alberta.

Tom's already long list of awards and honours includes an Officer of the Order of Canada, Saskatchewan Distinguished Service Award, The Saskatchewan Country Music Association International Humanitarian Award as well as countless music, film and humanitarian awards.

Tom is quick to point out that music is his first love. It was the social heartbeat of his early family life, and after being handed a guitar at age 10, Tom is rarely seen without a six-stringed instrument by his side. After 40 years of playing to audiences ranging from 50 to 50,000, Tom's musical gifts have parlayed into his acting and philanthropic causes. He has recorded 10 albums and written volumes of music.

Advance tickets are highly recommended. Contact Dianne Brandson at AMOCM, Box 57, Winfield, AB T0C 2X0. Phone (780) 682-2295.
